Inspiring Believing Achieving

Hockey

Hockey is offered to pupils in Primary 1 - 7 in Terms 1, 2 and 3 every Tuesday afternoon from 2.00 - 4.00pm. Mrs Nesbitt and Miss Black teaches essential hockey skills and ensures that every child has the opportunity to improve his or her ability and self-confidence as well as having fun.

We have a girls and boys hockey team who compete in a variety of league and cup matches throughout the year. Last year (18-19) our girls team finished runners up in the Richmount Hockey Tournament and performed very well in their league fixtures while our boys competed very well in their league.

Richmount Cup

Our girls hockey team took part in the Richmlunt Cup today (7/6/19) on the MUGA pitch behind Richmount Primary School. They played superbly winning 3 of their 4 matches and only narrowly losing out in the other one in a very closely contested match against Donacloney. It meant they finished as runners up and were awarded with medals. Lucy also won an individual award for impressing the umpires on the day. The girls have played really well all year and only narrowly missed out on being league champions as well as the Richmount Cup. A super season girls - well done!
